The Prairie Gal

I always find it innovative when a brand can successfully combine two eras into one garment. Something about this dress made me think of “the little house on the prairie”, from the high neckline to the long sleeves and the floral print this was old meets new and I fell in love. Topshop really made this dress appealing to the young eye with the lace up in the midsection and the deep slits on each side of the dress. I paired it with a boat hat and a bomb lace up chunky sandal to give a even more edgy look. When you have an overpowering print like this one there's really no need for a bunch of accessories the dress is your attention grabber already. Great job, Topshop!

Even though I love being overdramatic through dress, you don't always have to be. Sometimes the best outfits are the most effortless. I like to call this “Simplicity at its Finest”! It’s the ability to put a few simple items together without trying to be extra yet through the midst of it all you actually just put together one of your best outfits. We've all seen the uprising trend on basics, which has made staple items more and more trendy to have. This denim jumpsuit is simple, yet versatile since you can achieve so many different looks through it! I loved the light blue wash of it, and it was also extremely comfortable. These white mules are also another basic that's versatile, and they gave you a little edginess with the clear strap in the front. I think this a perfect look to go out to brunch with bae!

I was so infatuated by the thigh high boot! It was feeding me sexy and edgy all at the same time so I just had to cop me a pair. At first I was a little unsure of what to wear with these extremely long shoes but something told me denim was the answer. And denim it was, because free people knocked it out the park with their stylish shirt/dress. Not only was it denim but it had the perfect wash of blues and even incorporated that lace up look that were all digging right now. Then, for my pop I decided to go with a cheetah print clutch that tied the whole look together.
